Pity not the pretty things you break along the way.

I took this at Los Campesinos, in Manchester, on my film canon sure shot.  They were really fun live, and the new album sounded great.

Alex and his cat (Treacle) taken by me, on my film oldish canon.
I don’t really like cats generally, because I love mice too much, but I admit to loving Treacle.

A church in which they cover the floor/adorn the outside in reeds.  It smells beautiful inside. I believe it is tradition to cover the church floor with reeds, rushes or grasses to form a sort of carpet.

I wish someone would trust me on my life decisions. I’m worrying about worrying. And I have the complete inability to keep followers. (white whine over, sorry)

Just got my film back from processing, had to wait 2 days, and I’ve only gotten back 13 of the supposed 36 photos I took. I’m just miserable. I took so many photos of London and Oxford, I purposefully didn’t take my other camera, and now I’ve lost those pictures for ever. I so wish I could just develop film at home, I’m sick of putting my memories in the hands of the women at Boots. Fuck you.

Another photograph taken on my Ilford Sportsman from my mother’s birthday during Summer. Double exposed by accident, of course.
I know I’m easily forgotten, but Happy Birthday You.

Scanned in some photos from my Ilford Sportsman film camera, which everyone was adamant wouldn’t work.

This is unashamedly inspired by an article/photoshoot I saw in Dazed and Confused (which I will scan in, maybe) and by the cover art for Joanna Newsom’s ‘Milk Eyed Mender’ and probably being around Beth, who always makes me horribly jealous with her textiles masterpieces. I’m sorry this is nothing in comparison.
The photo was taken on an Ilford Sportsman, which was bought for me by Lucy, and it came out blurred, so I decided to sew onto it. Half term boredom has set in.
